Congratulations. Of course I’d be even more happy for the both of us if you’d had me find you that home for you, but I won’t go there. 
Anyway, you’re right, the market’s soft and people are getting great “deals” on homes right now.
I’ve talked to many people who gave up on buying last year and are thrilled when they see how much further their dollar can go today.
I guess that’s why they call this a “buyer’s market”…
