Buyers Market
“Hi Gary, my wife and I want to list our home. She wanted to use her friend who’s OK, but not especially successful. You’ll be glad to hear that I convinced her to use you. I told her we needed someone seen all the ups and downs and been successful during them. Are you busier now that it’s a buyer’s market?”
***ANSWER:
Thanks for your kind comments, and for changing your wife’s mind (no jokes about how that must have been tough to do, etc.).
And you’re right…my phone is ringing off the hook with past clients and people referred to me who are wanting to sell their homes and investment properties.
I call this the “lighthouse effect”.
…In a storm, waves may crash and ships toss and turn, but the lighthouse is stable. Ships look to the lighthouse for guidance, to get their bearings so they know they’re on the right route. (Truthfully, I know zip about ships and what I just told you may well be completely wrong, but you get the idea.)
So in buyer’s markets like these, proven agents often see their business increase…
